The CPR Improvement Working Group in conjunction with surveying firm Ipsos Health surveyed over 1,000 healthcare providers worldwide. These are some of the findings:
- 93% of people agree on the importance of limiting interruptions while delivering compressions
- 90% of the people surveyed believed they performed CPR according to recommendations, however; only 26% report being fully compliant with CPR guidelines.
- 75% of healthcare professionals believe their skill level at performing CPR to be high, and 55% believe that studies report CPR quality is delivered good, very good or excellent. Studies actually report that CPR quality is actually poor.
RESQ Health & Safety Training is committed to quality training and doing our part to change these statistics!
