When Seconds Count

A few months ago we heard story of a high school basketball player in Michigan that hit the game-winning shot to complete his team's perfect season. After celebrating with his team, he collapsed, and later died of cardiac arrest. He was sixteen years old.
There were paramedics at the game that performed CPR on the student.
With most athletic events there are Paramedic's available to perform in an emergency situation such as this. With any event there is always a risk of a medical emergency that could not be predicted. Which leads us to this question, what about your office? Do you have people trained in case of an emergency situation? When seconds count, is there someone you can count on with the training to remain calm, collected, and to do their very best to help the person in need?
If the answer is no, you might want to consider our Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Workplace Training (Heartsaver CPR/AED). The course is designed for non-healthcare workers who are first-responders in emergency situations. Heartsaver AED teaches skills such as giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult, and using and AED (Automated External Defibrillators). Heartsaver CPR is available for responders who do not have an AED on site.
RESQ offers classroom, online, and on site training. We have real-world experience utilizing the skills and concepts in our courses. We don't limit ourselves to our credentials - we have the experience to back up the lessons we teach.
Indianapolis based, we specialize in The American Heart Association curriculum, Indiana State Department of Health programs and OSHA standards.
