Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED Online

Intended for healthcare providers including physicians, dentists, dental assistants, nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, registered pharmacists, CNA’s, EMT’s, paramedics and emergency first responders seeking first-time training or renewal of their BLS card.

Using interactive micro-simulation technology, this course teaches:
1- and 2-Rescuer CPR (adult, child, infant)AED use (adult, child, infant)Bag-mask use (adult, child, infant)Rescue breathing and choking (adult, child infant)
The online portion can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours. CPR skills testing takes approximately 30 minutes with an AHA RESQ Health & Safety instructor.

Research indicates that the quality of CPR has a direct effect on patient outcomes from cardiac arrest and that many caregivers may not perform CPR according to the guidelines established by the American Heart Association (AHA). HeartCode™ BLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association, designed to address these important issues.

The full course combines an interactive, cognitive portion completed online, with CPR skills training. The student can then practice and test their skills with a RESQ Health & Safety Training, AHA BLS Instructor. HeartCode™ BLS will provide your team with the benefits of improved competency in CPR and may save time and money compared to classroom-based courses.

If you complete the course at the RESQ facility, cards will be issued the same day. Online classes are non-refundable.
