Heartsaver CPR/AED Online eLearning Class
With nearly 80 percent of cardiac arrests occurring outside the hospital, it is important that employers offer training that gives employees confidence to act quickly in an emergency.
The Heartsaver® CPR/AED Online Part 1 Course offers a flexible, time-saving option for workplaces and individuals that are required to have CPR/AED as part of their safety training. This course is completed in two steps.
Step 1: Complete the online portion (Part 1) of the course and print certificate of completion.
Step 2: Complete skills testing with one of RESQ's AHA CPR/AED instructors.
Course content:
• CPR (adult/child)
• AED use (adult/child)
• Choking (adult/child)
• Using a mask or barrier device
• Phoning for help
• Optional modules in infant CPR and choking
