Health And Safety Courses Designed For The Lay Rescuer

RESQ Health and Safety Training offers courses for everyone. Families and individuals that just want to have the skills needed to help a friend or loved one in need are available. We have outlined some of the most common courses available to anyone that has no previous rescue knowledge, and designed a curriculum that will be easy to learn and understand. All courses are taught following the standards set by The American Heart Association, and the student will be given a certification to carry with them to show their knowledge. Individuals or families that take advantage of these courses will walk away with an understanding, and the education to put your new skills to work, should the need arise.

HeartSaver First Aid:

This course teaches Basic First Aid according to standards set by the American Heart Association. It may be taken as a "Stand-Alone" First Aid course, or may include such thing as CPR and AED.

CPR for Family and Friends

This course is designed to teach lay rescuers such as school children, family members of patients at risk for sudden cardiac death and rescue skills for loved ones. You will learn skills in CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction.
