Health And Safety Courses Designed For The Healthcare Professional

RESQ Health and Safety Training offers courses for all healthcare professionals. Whether you are an EMT, Paramedic, Registered Nurse, Doctor, or any other healthcare provider, we have coursed designed to fit your needs and schedule. Our healthcare provider courses are taught following the standards set by The American Heart Association, and our instructors teach these courses in a manner that respects the knowledge and busy lifestyle of the average healthcare provider.

At the end of this course you will be able to describe the links in the AHA chain of survival, including the importance of :

  • Activating the appropriate emergency response system
  • Performing CPR
  • Using a barrier device
  • Providing bag mask ventilation
  • Providing early defibrillation
  • Ensuring the arrival of early advanced care
  • Providing bag mask ventilation
You will be able to demonstrate  
  • Activation of the emergency response system
  • Rescue Breathing using:
    1. mouth to mouth ventilation
    2. mouth to barrier device
    3. bag mask ventilation
  • 1 and 2 rescuer CPR for adult, infant , and child victums
  • Use of an AED
  • Relief of FBAO in the responsive and unresponsive victum of any age.

****After successfully completing the course you will receive a HCP card issued by the AHA that will be valid for 2 years.

Our HeartSaver courses are as follows:

Heartsaver CPR and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants

This course is designed to provider rescuers the training needed to perform CPR with or without the use of an AED, on adults, children, and infants.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. It is intended for people who provide healthcare to patients such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT's, Nursing Students, Aides, etc.

ACLS Provider

The ACLS Provider Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course (PALS)

The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to provide the learner with information and strategies needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
