ACLS Renewal Course AND BLS Course Overview
Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Our ACLS course will teach you clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke, cardiac emergencies and other life threatening medical emergencies, as well as the knowledge and skills to deploy those interventions. Only qualified health care providers can provide ACLS, as it requires the ability to manage the patient’s airway, initiate IV access, read and interpret electrocardiograms, and understand emergency pharmacology.
Basic Life Support: (RESQ will include FREE BLS with your ACLS Renewal Course!) The Basic Life Support Provider course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life threatening emergencies that could occur in their work environment. This video based course ensures consistent instruction which includes instructor led hands on practice to reinforce skill proficiency.

What is the minimum score to pass the written examination?
The current ACLS test has 50 multiple choice questions, and the minimum passing score is 84%.
I have difficulty reading rhythm strips. Will I still be able to pass the class?
Yes, there is no need to take an EKG course prior to ACLS our instructors will provide you with easy-to-understand ways to read rhythm strips during the course.
Does everyone have to be the team leader during the mega code testing?
Yes, however as the team leader that simply means you are coordinating the scenario with your team being able to assist you during the mega code.
