CPR for Teachers, Workplace & Lay Rescuers
All-inclusive Online Class + Skills Session
This course is meant for the general public that need the CPR certification for regulatory or other job requirements, including Indiana Department of Education. Training includes "CPR-Heimlich Maneuver-AED."
Heartsaver® CPR AED skills lessons include adult CPR, AED use, and the Heimlich Maneuver. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique. This technique allows instructors to observe the students and provide feedback during the skills check-off session after completing the online portion of the course.
This is an AHA blended learning course. A student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a Hands-On Skills Session in person with an AHA Instructor. You will receive the same American Heart Association Certification Card upon completion as you would for a classroom based training.
